• Strip used linens from beds
• Place all soiled towels in the bathtub
• Leave garbage bags in the outdoor garage bins
• Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it with detergent
• Lock all doors
• Turn off all lights, fans and fireplace

Q: How can I access the property?

A: Enter the 4 digit pin you received via email from Evolve Vacations at the front door keypad.  The code will also arm/disarm the alarm in the foyer and can be entered on the touch pad there. 

Q: Is there high speed internet?

A:  There are 3 WIFI networks including signal extensions for the second story of the house so you will never encounter a dead zone.  The WIFI network names and password can be found in a wall frame in the foyer hallway.

Q: Can I control the indoor temperature?

A: The house has 3 nest thermostats to climate control individual zones. To adjust the nest thermostats, spin the entire wall unit clockwise and counterclockwise to navigate the menu and push it inward to make a selection. The home uses baseboard heat and relies on passive cooling methods.

Q: How do I turn on the fireplace?

A: To operate the gas fireplace, keep the glass doors open while in use and turn the chimney vent lever above the firebox opening to the uppermost position.  Turn the small black knob located inside the firebox (to the left of the logs) clockwise to turn on flames and counterclockwise to turn off. 

Q: Can I watch TV using my streaming service subscriptions?

A: Each of the 3 bedrooms has it's own private TV and there is a TV located in the Loft for larger groups to gather. Remotes are located inside the side table drawers in each of the 4 rooms with TVs. You may login to any of your subscription streaming services (such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc.) and/or smartcast from your cell phone. At the end of your stay, simply hit the reset button on the main menu of the TV to easily logout of all apps.

Q: Is the property pet friendly?

A: We do not currently allow pets.  Guide or leader dogs, hearing dogs, or service dogs of guests that meet the identification and training verification requirements of Michigan or federal law are not considered pets and are permitted.  Please contact Evolve Vacations if you wish to bring a service dog.

Q: What supplies are provided with the house?

A: We provide our guests with complimentary bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee, tea and some basic cleaning supplies.
